Beautiful yarn! Thank you for the giveaway. Happy 4th birthday to your lovely blog. :)

While I don't have little ones to knit for, I am constantly looking at those fab tiny knit.

I love the Pembroke Vest by Kristen Kapur. It is adorable.

Oh my goodness he is adorable. Simply adorable. Loved the picture you posted on Friday as well. You should make him a cotton pullover vest. I'll go looking for a pattern, the DROPS one I made last year was well received and looked awesome. You could easily do cotton instead of the sock yarn I used.

Happy Blogging for another 4 years...How about an EZ Tomten - it is hard to go past the classics especially with Winter coming.

melissa

happy 4 year blogaversary!!! here's to many many more years to come!!

i love the milo pattern (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/milo-3). you could knit it up in a soft cotton if it's too warm for young master wiggle to wear wool in hawaii! :)

Happy 4th Blogiversary! Maybe some socks for Wiggle to go with the Oakland A's sweater.

Made it for my friend and her son is getting tons of wear out of it!! I made it out of a boucle cotton.

Now I'm off to post your contest right away, so you can consider this my entry for that :)

Hello! Dear kate posted your blog contest in her blog, "Rocks, Waves, Beach". I want to read & look at everything in your blog - it looks so comforting. Happy.

I just knit a sweet little cat for my 5 yr. old granddaughter, Ava. It is from the "Knit Your Own Cat", book by Sally Muir & Joanna Osborne. Ava requested a blue & pink cat.

I don't think it would be age-appropriate for your child though. Unless, of course, it's up on a shelf for him to gaze at. (I used pipecleaners for bendy legs).

I just found your blog through Kate's Rock, Waves, Beach blog. My suggestion for a knit for your son is a felted diaper cover. Even if you use disposable diapers a cover would look really cute!

well hello hawaii! i saw your sweet note on my sisters knitter kal! my babies are grown, but i am thinking how lovely blankets are at any age. there is one called the pinwheel and it's knit in the round. you can knit a drawstring and weave it around the hem to draw up into a bag. it's perfect as a playmat, makes clean up time easy too!
your giveaway is so generous, thank you and happy blogiversary!

Happy Blogiversary!

New reader here. Clicked my way over from your post on My Sister's Knitter KAL. It IS hard to think of things to knit for a Hawaii baby! I love the braided ball that you already did. Maybe Wiggle would be more interested if it were noisy or crinkly.

I agree with other commenters suggesting blankets or cotton vests. What about little bracelet or anklet rattles? Stuffed animals? Bibs and burp cloths? A knitted version of those stackable donuts (probably not age appropriate, yet)?

Happy Blogiversary! I know I am two days late for the drawing but I wanted to suggest the cutest elephant pattern to knit... http://www.etsy.com/listing/62450106/bloomsbury-elephant-toy-knitting-pattern?ref=sr_gallery_44&ga_search_query=knit+toy+pattern&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all
