Finally! A Wiggle FO!
And, it's taken me three weeks to post and I'm at week 38, so this may be the last post for awhile. Fair warning! :)
I started this sweater back in October and then realized I wasn't going to have enough yarn to do long sleeves. I was kind of bummed and didn't pick up the sweater again until last month. Then I needed buttons but fortunately Partner helped pick out the best available (there isn't much choice in Hawaii).
I'd like to say I love the sweater, but it's not quite what I envisioned. I wanted to have long sleeves and stripes on the wrists. I'm also not that excited by the way the stripes turned out because they look kind of sloppy.
I also really thought that the red would be okay for a boy, but it looks a bit girly to me. Which, is fine, if Wiggle Bug is a girl.
I've started another project...
Your eyes do not deceive you. A crochet hook. I have crocheted since I was seven. But I went over to the knitting dark side about seven years ago. This is the first time I've crocheted since then! This is a very special blankie. You'll note the crochet hook is to the left. I'm left handed and learned to crochet left handed. When I learned to knit, my friend couldn't figure out how to teach me left handed. So I knit right handed. I think that is a happy accident for watching videos to learn new techniques!
And I've received some wonderful knitted baby gifts, but I have to show off this gift -
Get it? A Wiggle Bug! A handpainted onsie from the talented Miss L! Thank you L!
If anyone doesn't believe pregnancy does weird things to your hormones, check out the latest maternity shirt I bought.
It has rhinestone sequins. And when I put it on, I thought it was cute. And I've worn it in public. Blame it on pregnancy.
This is last week, Week 37...

Like Melissa, sending lots of love!! Suppose to be sending mail as well, but time has zoomed by and the parcel is yet to be addressed... this week!!
You look wonderful, love the sweater.
I too crochet left handed and knit right handed. Learning to crochet was really really difficult.
