As you can imagine, Day 45 was a little less stuff. It took far too long to return the car so we really spent the day wandering London...
We went back to Buckingham Palace...
Then back to the British Museum (our 3rd visit!)

And the most amazing room, Room 1. Room 1 is set up the way the original British Museum was set up in the 1800s. Partner and I were in awe...
There was a little of everything, including these books Partner found by chance...
Aren't you glad you don't have to knit socks for him...
No matter how much we would have liked to have stayed, it was dark and time to say good bye one last time. Partner and I agreed that if we lived in London, we'd go until we'd been through every room...
I can't believe we're coming to the end ..... I've so enjoyed this wonderful journey!

oh the british museum... i would oh so love to go there as well... for now i'm content though to live vicariously through all your fabulous photos!
