A few people have asked for an update on the cardigan.
It's not much, but I give you:
That, my friends, is 9494 stitches of lace weight yarn on US4.
The colors aren't quite right, but this one shows the color variations a little bit.
The most exciting part so far can be seen in the upper-center right of the next pic. My first decrease:
I'm actually a bit further past here, 12,260 stitches, to be specific. But in this case, 12,260
doesn't look much different than 9,494.
For something a little more visually interesting, here is our dinner from a few nights ago:
We've been eating vegetarian, so that is tempah, yellow chard, button mushrooms, purple onions, diced tomatoes, and various spices including yummy Korean red pepper paste. I bought the pepper paste on a flight back from Korea and it's one of my favorite duty free purchases ever. Take that Louis Vuitton.
